Chief Executive Officer
- Maxine has 31 yrs Clinical Social Work, Senior Social Services Management & Case Management experience
- Maxine is the owner and leader of Essentially You providing quality attendant care for the past 16 years
- MSW, B.Sc. (Honours) & Certified Social Work Practice Teacher
- ABI Level 1 & 2 Certification (OBIA & Brock)
- CCAC, Hospital Rehabilitation, Discharge Planning, Senior Mental Health, Assisted Living and Long Term Care
- Appointed Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA) Board Member
Patrice Scicluna
Chief Operating Officer
- Patrice has over 27 years of Corporate Operational Experience at an Executive Level
- In her career she has lead Marketing Execution Teams, IT Teams, Operations Teams and a Call Center of over 300 associates.
- Real Estate Development experience, collaborating with Municipalities and Consultants through Draft Plan, Site Plan, Building permits and licensing
- Patrice is also an experienced Real Estate Investor with over 10 years managing her own investment properties across Canada as well as private lending, private investments and land development
- Licensed Real Estate Salesperson
John Groe
Housing & Accessibility Consultant
- John is the CEO at Accessible Daily Living, which completes assessments consultation and home modifications for clients that have been seriously injured in Motor Vehicle Accidents
- John is also President of DriveLab Inc. which provides driver retraining and reintegration through the Ministry to Transportation of Ontario
- He has extensive knowledge of rehabilitation having worked in one of Canada’s top Trauma and Orthopedic Hospitals for more than a decade.
- He is a founding and current council member for Home Modifications Canada (HMC).
- HMC is an affiliate of the Canadian Home Builders Association, educating, advocating, and creating awareness for accessible housing, aging in place, and residential modifications.
Tazmeen Lalani
Clinical Operations Consultant
- Taz is a graduate of the University of Toronto and a Certified Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience across the healthcare sector and in private practice
- Taz has a passion for brain injury/concussion and mental health including anxiety and depression
- She also enjoys and specializes in paediatric assessments and treatment
- Taz’s commitment to advocating and supporting clients, families, and community organizations is further demonstrated through her role as the appointed Chair of the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Association of York Region
